Restore database using R1soft

Here’s how you’d properly restore myslq using r1soft.

1) Setup r1soft to connect to your MySQL instance and configure it to make mysql snap shots.

2) In the event a database and user are deleted:
2a) inside cpanel, create/recreate the usernameyou want to have access to the database
2b) restore the mysql data using r1soft
2c) from command line on the cpanel server run:
/usr/local/cpanel/bin/setupdbmap

(this will restore the database to the cpanel user account so it is visible)
2d) give the mysql user access to that database using cpanel
2e) restart mysql

3) In the vent you just want to roll data back:
3a) restore the data using r1soft
3b) restart mysql
